From the New Jersey Turnpike: 
Take Exit 9 on the NJ Turnpike. After the toll plaza, follow signs for Route 18 North. Follow Route 18 North through New Brunswick. Take the exit for “Easton Ave., South Bound Brook.” This puts you on George St. Go to the light at the end and turn left onto Landing Lane. At the next light turn right onto Easton Ave. Proceed through several lights passing the McDonalds & Dunkin’ Donuts shopping plaza. Stay in the right-hand lane.  There is a brown historic marker at this intersection just AFTER the driveway. Turn right onto the gravel driveway at the corner of Easton Ave. and DeMott Lane. If you pass the Rutgers Preparatory School, you have passed the Meadows Foundation driveway.

From Interstate 287 North:

Turn right at Exit 10 and bear left going back under a bridge for 287. You are now on Easton Avenue (Route 527) going to New Brunswick. There are three traffic lights on Easton Avenue before you reach DeMott Lane. The fourth traffic light you turn right onto a jug handle. Keep in the left lane to the stop sign. Turn left and go to the traffic light. You will see a sign for the Van Wickle house on the left of the driveway. On the green light, travel straight ahead into what looks like a private driveway, which it is. As you enter you will see the house on the right side of the car. The first turn right takes you into the parking area for the house.

From 287 South:

At exit 10 (Route 27) turn right and go straight down the exit ramp onto Easton Avenue (Route 527), and continue along Easton Avenue to the DeMott Lane turn-off and jug handle. There are three traffic lights on Easton Avenue before you reach DeMott Lane. Take a right turn onto a jug handle to a stop sign you turn left on to DeMott Lane, and go to the light.  You are now facing Easton Avenue at the light. Take the green light and go straight across into what looks like a wooded driveway. That is a continuation of DeMott Lane. Drive on and you will see the Van Duyn-Van Wickle House on the right through the trees. Turn at the first right into the parking area for the house.

From the Garden State Parkway: 

Traveling South on the Garden State Parkway to Exit 130/US #1 South. Turn right at the exit to US #1 South to Interstate 287 North. Stay on Interstate 287 North to Exit 10. The go to From 287 South

From US #1:
Travel on US #1 exiting at Route 18 North/New Brunswick. Follow Route 18 North (Memorial Parkway) through New Brunswick. The Raritan River will be on your right.

From Route 27: 

Traveling on Route 27, from either North (New Brunswick) or South from Princeton, you will turn onto Veronica Avenue. At this intersection, you will see a Gulf gasoline station on one corner and an Exxon station diagonally across from it on the other corner. Turn onto Veronica Avenue, you will see a high radio tower for WCTC in front of you,  and then a Stop & Shop in a shopping plaza is on the left.  After a curve in the road on the right, Proceed on Veronica Avenue to the end. At the traffic light, Hamilton Street, turn left. Follow Hamilton Street through light to the next light. Turn right. This is JFK Blvd. Take this to the very end and turn left onto Easton Ave. Pass the Willow Creek Rehabilitation and Care facility. Stay in the right-hand lane. At the next light (DeMott Lane) turn right onto a long gravel and dirt driveway. On the right you see the house and near the end of the road turn right and to the house parking area.

By Amtrack and New Jersey Transit:

Arriving at the railroad station in New Brunswick, New Jersey, you are at the intersection of Rt. 27 and Easton Ave. Go up Easton Ave. and turn right at the light at the intersection of Easton Avenue and DeMott Lane. Go to From the New Jersey Turnpike Above.

Hageman Farm, 209 South Middlebush Road, Somerset, NJ 08873

Travel to Easton Avenue (Route 527). From 287, take Easton Avenue  to DeMott Lane, or from New Brunswick take Easton Avenue west to DeMott Lane. Turn right at DeMott Lane through one light to the end (intersection of DeMott Lane and Amwell Road). Make a right turn at the traffic light, staying in the left-hand lane. A few hundred feet ahead at the traffic light turn left onto South Middlebush Road. Proceed through the village. When you come into the open field on the right you will see three charming colored barns in the near distance. Proceed to the white Victorian house on the right, 209 S. Middlebush Rd.

From the Hageman Farm travel a very short distance to the next property on the right, the historic Wcykoff-Garretson House. Turn onto the drive up hill to the Wagon Barn and park on the left.

Follow South Middlebush Road down to the first light at the corner on South Middlebush Road and Blackwells’ Mill Canal Road. Turn left at the light and go up the driveway to the house on the right and parking area on the left.
